Town Centre Vision: Happening Now!

It’s happening… the Town Centre Vision is gathering momentum

Pavilion Dance, the new world-class dance centre constructed through the Vision, was opened by Prince Edward in October 2010, securing Bournemouth’s place on the map as a destination for dance.

Improvements to public spaces have taken place at the Triangle, Holdenhurst Road and St Peter’s Road and exciting announcements about other major projects are expected soon.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Bournemouth Council is about to form a public-private partnership with Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd that will drive the construction of new family attractions, shops, homes, landmark buildings and improvements to public spaces on numerous town centre sites.

The ‘Area Action Plan – Preferred Options’ document lays down the level of appropriate change in each town centre location and opens for public consultation on November 8. Click here to find out more.
